Grade II listed Manor House
Manton managed the complete renovation of this Grade II listed Gothic manor house in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, sited at the source of the River Thames on a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The house had been altered and extended over several centuries. Manton appointed a team of heritage consultants, planners, ecologists and architects to retain the integrity of the listed structure while creating family space suited to contemporary living.
The project also included a new kitchen and orangery, conversion of the Coach House into ancillary accommodation and a fitness suite, and conversion of the Stable Block into oak-framed garaging. Manton managed the grounds, including remodelling of the outdoor pool and tennis court.
