Residential Security
Manton advises on the protection of private homes, estates, the people who live in and work around them, and the way the property operates.
We begin by understanding how the property is used in practice, who has access, where the points of exposure are and what level of protection is appropriate.
We consider physical security, access control, staff and visitor management, technology and monitoring systems, and response protocols. Where specialist advice or systems are required, we help appoint and coordinate the right providers on behalf of the client.
Our work covers country houses, listed buildings, private estates and London townhouses. Security requirements vary depending on how a property is used, whether it is occupied full time or periodically, the number of staff involved and whether the client has a public profile. We take all of these factors into account before making any recommendations.
Protection should be proportionate and practical. It should support the household and the property, not disrupt how it is used.
