Village Cottage

Manton managed the extension and renovation of this former village police station in Wiltshire, updating it for modern family living.

Working with a local draughtsman, Manton developed a contemporary cedar-clad single-storey extension, built across a series of irregular angles to accommodate a larger living space, utility room and downstairs cloakroom.

Site access was limited. The team removed 200 tonnes of soil by wheelbarrow and installed two one-tonne bespoke skylights by hand.
