Spiralling Costs. Empty Promises. It’s Time to Deliver.

Across the property and construction world, one issue stands out. Too many projects are running over budget, over time, and under-delivering.

For clients, it’s become an all-too-familiar story:

  • Slick proposals upfront
  • Confusion in the middle
  • Disappointment at the end

What should be a creative and rewarding process has become one of the most stressful experiences a client can take on.

The Industry Has Stopped Holding Itself Accountable

There’s a culture of overpromising and under-delivering, fuelled by a lack of regulation and transparency. “Project managers” without real experience. Contractors bidding low, then clawing back the difference later. And in the end, it’s the client who pays, in both cost and confidence.

At Manton Property, we’ve chosen a different path.

We tell clients the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. We give realistic costings and timelines, backed by evidence, not optimism. And we only work with trusted professionals who share our commitment to getting it right, not just getting it done.

Whether managing a listed home renovation or a complex construction project, our role is clear. We stand between our clients and the chaos.

The same Principles Apply at Manton Protect

Too many security providers sell complexity, not clarity. We deliver discreet, intelligent protection. Technology that works, backed by people you can trust.

The industry doesn’t need another glossy brochure or inflated promise. It needs honesty. Discipline. Delivery.

That’s where we stand.

That’s Manton.

Spiralling Costs. Empty Promises. It’s Time to Deliver.

Philip Shaw, Manton Property

Philip leads commercial growth, marketing and professional relationships at Manton, working across the firm’s advisory, project management and residential security services.

Before joining Manton, he co-founded Savernake Knives, where he led marketing, partnerships and business development. His earlier career included London hospitality, safari operations in East Africa and country operations for Adam Smith International in South Sudan and Pakistan.

Those roles gave him direct experience of operational risk, security planning and intelligence-led decision making in complex environments. At Manton, Philip applies that background to the firm’s growth, reputation and position as a trusted adviser to private clients, families and professional introducers.

The detail varies. The role does not.
